About

The SilverVox Story

Twenty years ago, creativity took center stage in Frederick when Clark Kline co-launched the 72 Film Fest, challenging filmmakers to create movies in just 72 hours. What began as an ambitious experiment has grown into one of the region’s most celebrated creative events. Over the past two decades, we’ve screened over 800 short films, built a thriving community of storytellers, and cultivated a platform where filmmakers, innovators, and artists come together year after year.

Now, we’re ready for the next chapter. SilverVox builds on this foundation, transforming the beloved 72 Film Fest into the cornerstone of a world-class celebration of film, music, and performing arts. Our mission is to create a destination where creativity flourishes, emerging voices shape the future of entertainment, and artists and audiences connect in meaningful ways.

With decades of experience, a dedicated community, and an unwavering passion for the arts, SilverVox is poised to take the legacy of the 72 Film Fest to new heights. Join us as we expand our vision and create a hub for bold storytelling and artistic innovation.
